Norwood to Face Braves on Thurs.
The beginning of a three game series between the Norwood Red Sox and the Potsdam Indians will be played on Snell field, Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
Lewis LaBrake, business manager of the club, announced this series over the week end. The two towns, always rivals in any sport, should draw a good crowd.
The two teams have played two games to date with the Braves taking the first one on July 4, 13-3, and the Red Sox getting revenge here a couple of weeks ago on a 5-1 decision.
Thursday night will probably find Wendall Smith doing the mound work for the locals while Bob Dillenbeck, who handcuffed the locals in the last outing of the two teams, will work for Norwood.
